A few years back, I came to a realisation that changed my life,  my job and particularly my family relationships. It was that; happiness is a choice. Every now and again  I skip backwards through this blog and remember the lessons I have learnt along the way. Reflection. Everyone needs it. Mid week ‘cuppa’. Incidentally I’m heating up my teapot as I write this.   The thing I love most about life is experience. Even more than experience; the people who share in that experience.  So, I spend life with who makes me happy. Not who I have to impress.

I do,  I’ve stopped impressing on purpose. Writing this blog is a simple example. When I write without challenge, often an elated verbal torrent pours from my soul (*Squish). Simply put, it makes me happy and hopefully it makes you happy too.

A small mention to my amazing friends who pulled together the most incredible weekend at Houtbay’s  gorgeous, wild@heart. The venue, the occasion. Next level girl bonding times  and  then there are the powers that be, for the stunning weather. Could  I have asked for better anything? Not a chance. I am blessed to have all of you in my life. Thanks for keeping it classy as always ladies. Much love to everyone that assisted in making things happen.
